My cup of tea
It has been a while since my last entry and I apologize for that. Between school work and well school work it's been a hard thing to balance. Today I write to inform you about the importance of individuality. That topic occupied my mind from yesterday all the way to today. I can understand someone trying to guide me on the right path that I have no problem with, but it's when someone who is a negative influence tries to tell me how to live my life, where I begin to surface my concerns. As time goes on I've only found that I am in fact a stubborn person; a trait that I would like to personally thank my mother for inheriting so that it can get passed down to me. The thing about stubborn people is just that, we're stubborn; you cannot tell us anything, well at least not much. For the last couple of days there has been somebody in my life, a peer to be more exact, who has been trying to tell me how to live my life and quite frankly I'm not so fond of her "risky notions." If you ask me I'd rather have somebody who gives a damn about their life telling me what to do, as oppose to someone who thinks life is a circus. Life is not a circus, instead it is a journey and you can have a pleasant journey or a not so pleasant journey. So many times I have messed up in my life, not to say I won't mess up again, but I'm trying to lessen the screw ups I actually accommodate. Excuse me for trying to make something out of this fragile thing called life but it is my duty. Like the book of Luke states in The New Testament Jesus DID NOT drink wine, he divided it amongst his guest, so why should I drink from that wine cup? It's just not my cup of tea.

The Journey
I screamed as it pulled me to the floor and took control of me. It was a force I couldn't beat. It had me in its threshold. Then all of a sudden it turned dark and I felt myself being pulled down a cold, rough tunnel. Where was I being taken? What was at the end of this tunnel? So much was running through my mind, I hadn’t even notice that the grip it had on me began to loosen with each pull. Then by the tenth pull I was set free and it disappeared. Relieved, I scrambled to my feet and ran until I saw a light, and there it was that light I had been searching for. I slowly approached it, afraid of what might be on the other side of it. There it stood, with open arms and a first-aid kit to cure my scars and broken bones. I smiled as I approached it and held its hand. We walked off into the light and started our never ending journey.

The hole in my skull that never formed.....
I almost formed a hole in my skull trying to figure out what to write for my first blog and then it dawned on me, I'll write whatever the hell I feel like writing. There's no judgement, no grading, or no penalties for anything I feel I have to get off my chest. So here goes my first blog...........
I sat and pondered how I can make my writing more publicly known. For years I was a fan of the old 20 billion spiral notebook club where I kept all of my writing "underground" like some sort of conspiracy. I would write everything from short stories and poems to long stories and thoughts. Finally after I filled up the last page in my green spiral notebook I decided that I would never fill up an entire notebook again without making it public. Now that I have grown fond of the blogging world from just my first one I know that I'll be one of those people that will kick off my shoes, turn on my laptop, and get the blogging. I'll blog until my fingers get sore and my brain is empty, I swear I will, because with every letter that I push down on I feel that I own it, like I own my keyboard. So today at 9:59 pm on a cool night in the mountains I made this keyboard my slave, now watch me put it to work.
